In 1989 I visited Carl Nyström and was very impressed of his big collection of shipphoto's. Too many Dutch ships he had photograved. My question is: what happened with his collection of negatives?

Completing information re BRUNO:
1947, July 18: Pargas Kalkbergs AB buys 7 landing crafts from Charles Rudiger Ellerman, Antwerp, lying in British ports. According to the Bill of Sales they are LCS(R) No 1-7 and said to be built in 1945 at Middlesborough. If correct, the builder was probably Teesside Bridge & Engineering Co. The numbers above are probably not the official ones given when built. They were renamed 'Pargas 6 - Pargas 11'. 219 grt 182 nrt Dims: 47.07 x 6.70 x 4.30 m.
1954, May 1: registered on OY Semtrans, Pargas.
1956, May 5: all 7 barges plus some other ones sold to G van Winssen, Antwerp and H Buiterdyk, Rotterdam.
And then, 'Pargas 6' pops up as 'Bruno'.

Thorsten, thanks for this detailed information. I always thought she was a Swedish vessel. I will try to find out more information about the barges sold to Holland and Belgium.

@Torsten, many thanks. The name of this little, wooden?, coaster is Eolus and she was built in 1948 at Pukavik. The photo dates of 20-10-1962, but still trading?
